a breather at the finish.

As a motorcyclist roars off from a timing control, Francis and
Joan Tucker prepare to leave In their Ford Capri 3000. The
Tucker family brought their Capri home in sixth place and won
their class, an astonishing performance from a low-slung
sports-type car.

Foot-up Ace Bruce Johnstone, lying second in this year's
National championship Series, with the Bultaco Matador which
he will ride in the "Roof of Africa" Rally. Bruce has ridden
in four "Roof" events and finished each time.
